Almighty God calls each of His children to make an eternal difference for Him which is good and pleasing and perfect...
"Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect" (Romans 12:2).
Over 200 years ago, William Wilberforce understood that calling better than most men. Here is an opportunity to teach through small groups how Wilberforce's legacy can still be carried out today by learning the life principles he used to Be A World Changer.

We are calling churches across the nation to become world changing churches. As a Pastor, Staff Member, Church Leader or Congregation Member, here is a question to ask yourself:
If your church were to shut down tomorrow, would your community even realize you were gone?
This is often a very difficult question to answer for many churches on so many different levels. But the encouraging word is that your church can and will impact your community in a transformational way if you are willing to humble yourself, realize you cannot do it alone, allow the Holy Spirit to work through you and teach your congregation to "be the church" in your community.
We would like to offer an amazing small group study opportunity for your church that includes the transforming story of "Amazing Grace: The Story of William Wilberforce" DVD and the "World Changer: Live to Serve" small group companion book written to inspire your congregational members to be world-changers in their homes, schools, businesses and communities.
This BE A WORLD CHANGER Study Guide is a 5-week series that teaches the following:
This guide explores the life, faith, and vision of the great 19th century British reformer, William Wilberforce, as portrayed in the major motion picture Amazing Grace.
Wilberforce believed that he and his circle of friends were called by God to pursue two great objects: the abolition of the slave trade, and the reformation of society. The slave trade was the economic and political strength of 19th century Britain—no one dared try to defeat it.
After decades of defeats, Wilberforce's legislation to abolish the slave trade throughout the British Empire became law on March 25, 1807. Along the way, he and his friends launched more than 65 social reforms, including the first animal welfare society, the first Bible society, free education, and provide laws to protect children and reform prisons.
What would it look like to a William Wilberforce today? What "great objects" are you most passionate about? What would it take to be a world-changer in your work, church, and neighborhood?
In addition to a comprehensive study on the themes of grace, calling, group support and perseverance, this 5-week BE A WORLD-CHANGER Study Guide gives small groups the opportunity, like Wilberforce, to put their faith into action in a specific "world-changing" community missions project called Serve Day. It is the small acts of service that cause great change in our homes, our neighborhoods, our churches, our cities, and indeed, our nation and world.

Here is your opportunity to join thousands of other churches in making a real difference in the communities they serve. We, as Christians, need to come together as the body of Christ and wash the feet of others.
"World-Changers: Live To Serve" Companion Book"World-Changers: Live To Serve" takes the same principles as the study guide but goes much more in depth. It helps you better understand Wilberforce’s principles and provides more steps. It shares stories of modern-day world changers. It also compares William Wilberforce's principles to the ultimate "World-Changer" Jesus Christ through His Sermon on the Mount and gives practical examples of those teachings.
